Sailor: the open source harnessthat turns into a money agent.

01

Deploys your account

Your Sail account is a Separately Managed Account (SMA): a Safe that holds your capital. The agent can operate it but can never own it.

02

Writes the permissions

Solidity contracts define what the agent may do. The full set of them is your mandate, and you sign it.

Runs your strategy

On your own machine, through an SDK, a CLI, a local dashboard and 20+ skills, with no hosted backend.

SAILOR

Welcome aboard, I’m Sailor, here to help you navigate Sail Protocol.

I’ll take you from an idea to a live DeFi agent managing capital inside bounds only you control. Here’s the journey:

  1. 1Set up your SMA, a self-custodial Safe account only you own, and your agent’s wallet.
  2. 2Define your agent’s strategy together.
  3. 3Turn it into a mandate: onchain permissions enforced on every transaction; your agent can never exceed it, and you can revoke it anytime.
  4. 4Build and run your agent, on your machine, on your schedule, inside its bounds.

So, what should your agent do?

  • Tradingspot, DCA, rebalancing, perpetuals, RWAs
  • Yieldlending, borrowing, liquidity providing, staking, looping
  • Payments and treasurytransfers, scheduled moves, operational flows
  • Bettingprediction markets

Or anything else onchain. If it’s onchain, we can build it.

Underneath Sailor is the Sail Protocol.

How it works

You deploy and own the account (SMA), sign a mandate of Solidity permissions, and appoint a manager, your agent. All three feed the Sail Kernel, which checks every transaction against the mandate: within bounds it executes, outside it reverts.
